Details

A solitaire that ignores the rules solitaires come with. One emerald-cut black spinel, held high on four claws, on a band that splits in two before it reaches the stone.

The smooth stretches are polished bright and the craters stay dark, wherever the cast left them, so no two come out the same. Inside, it's mirror-smooth and carries our hallmark.

Get it measured at a jeweller. It's usually free and takes a minute. Or do it yourself:

Cut a strip of paper 3 mm wide and about 10 cm long. The width matters.
Wrap it around the base of the finger. Snug, not tight. Take it on and off a few times.
Mark where it overlaps and measure the length in millimetres. That number is your EU size.
