Details

A flat head shaped like the diamond on a playing card, with craters eaten into two of its edges and a black spinel sunk into each, on opposite sides. The smooth face between them keeps them apart.

The band splits open on both sides of the head, so it wears lighter than it looks. The craters are cast, not carved, and come out a little different on every ring.

Get it measured at a jeweller. It's usually free and takes a minute. Or do it yourself:

Cut a strip of paper 3 mm wide and about 10 cm long. The width matters.
Wrap it around the base of the finger. Snug, not tight. Take it on and off a few times.
Mark where it overlaps and measure the length in millimetres. That number is your EU size.
